Mrs. Ibiwunmi Akinnola is an accomplished professional and fiercely patriotic educator and lead consultant with over 20 years of cognate experience in early years, primary and secondary education. She established Child Centre, a vibrant preschool and after-school centre that now mostly hold the top ten positions in their various schools wherever they go. Child Centre was awarded the PEEL (PARTNERS FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATIONAND LEARNING). In 2006, She was the only Early Years Education Specialist invited to participate in the Federal Ministry of Education Vision 2020 in Abuja.
With a vast wealth of knowledge, resources, expertise and care in developing good practice in administrative and executive business functions, enterprise development and having carved out a niche as an executive administrator, Mrs. Akinnola served as the Interim Administrative Coordinator for Yale-Harvard Leadership Enterprise for African Development in 2011.
She participated as one of the central working committee on the Oyo State 2012 Education Summit regarding ‘DEVELOPING A SUSTAINABLE TRANSFORMATION PLAN FOR EDUCATION’ in Oyo State. She served as the coordinating consultant for Oyo State Post Summit Education Implementation on Early Years, Primary and Yoruba Resuscitation. Child Centre limited trained 300 principals, vice principals, administrators and teachers for Oyo State (TESCOM), vice principals, administrators and teachers in a workshop on leadership development and 21st century instructional practices and tools.
Mrs. Akinnola also participated as one of the technical planning committee of the 3rd Lagos State Education Summit in May 2013 as well as a Rapporteur and presenter at the plenary session of the summit. In 2014 and 2015, she was the only private consultant of the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) consultants for the UBEC 2014 Teachers Professional Development Programme and is a member of the Lagos State Safe School Parents’ Watch Network [“SSPWN”] represents Eti-Osa Lagos, Education District. In February 2015, she was appointed as the Educational Consultant for Ajapaworld Financial literacy Club in partnership with UNICEF with the approval of Lagos State Government Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), to provide training to the club facilitators/teachers for Lagos State Government Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) public schools. She is also one of the Lagos State School Safety Commission Audit Agents, ensuring that all schools have a safe learning environment by implementing best practices in their schools.
She is an Associate Member of WIMBIZ (Women in Business and Management). The Founder and Chairperson of Cherith Child (CCLG) established in 2010 that advocates for a better tomorrow for underserved children and their mothers, irrespective of tribe, religion leanings, disabilities or creed through EDUCATION.
Mrs. Ibiwunmi Akinnola is currently the Chairperson, Widows Trust Fund and has served as an Executive member of the International Women’s Society Nigeria (IWS) from 2010 to Date in various capacities as follows:

· Hospitality Secretary (2015 – 2017)
Mrs. Akinnola continues to consult and assist in establishing schools from the business plan to recruiting and HR Outsourcing, curriculum planning and training of their staff. She conducts seminars on phonics, quality assurance, school safety and various teacher-training programmes, image consulting, best office practices and executive assistant training amongst others. She is married with four (4) children.
